Supermodels may seem goddesses of perfection, but they are really not. This video I found clearly shows that myths of fashion such as Gisele Bundchen, Natasha Poly, Sasha Pivovarova, Jessica Stam or Chanel Iman, make terrible mistakes when walking down the runway. These errors make the models look very unprofessional, embarrassing in that way the designers that put their faith on them to show their collections to the world.

Walking Around Has Never Felt Better
The weather is getting warm, and you need to start thinking about comfy shoes for walking around in the heat. Vans shoes are perfect for that. The American brand makes an infinite number of shoe models with a skateboarding style, that either man or woman can perfectly wear.

Amy Is Back, But Not To Black
It has been long since last time we heard from Miss Winehouse, and not because of a nasty scandal. Her second collection for the clothing brand Fred Perry is now available in stores. Every item is filled with Amy's peculiar pin-up style, with designs in red, yellow and even hawaiian prints. I would have never thought that the singer's trashiness could make a good combination with Fred Perry's classic and elegant lines; but it does.

Take A Dip With Style
Temperature rises, summer is coming, and beach days are knocking at your door. There is not better excuse than that to go shopping and get some new cool swimwear.
When it comes to buy swimwear, I am very picky and it takes me forever to find a bikini that I like. I recently checked out O'Neill's website and they have a great swimwear collection, with a surfer style and youthful design.
So if you are already thinking of getting some new swimwear, you should definitely check out O'Neill's proposals for this incoming Summer 2011.

Alexa Chung For Madewell
Once again, the model, television presenter, and editor Alexa Chung will share a piece of her distinctive style with the world through her second collaboration with Madewell. The collection will hit the stores in Fall 2011 and, after the great success of her first collaboration with the brand, I can't wait to see the new stuff that she has designed. Knowing Alexa's personal style and great taste when choosing the right outfit for each occasion, I am sure she will not disappoint with this collection.

Dior Yourself
Dior makeup products are amazing; they have a very high quality and they last perfectly shiny for a long time. I always buy my mascara, lipsticks and eye liner from Dior, and I have always been very satisfied with the results.
Dior updates their product lines very often and always launches interesting collections. Their last collection for this Spring 2011 is called Gris Montaigne. The collection is based on grey and pink shades. The inspiration for Gris Montaigne came from the landscape of a small town located in Normandy, where Christian Dior spent most of his childhood.
The collection is now available in stores and at their website. Their products are a bit expensive but, in my opinion, it is totally worth it.

Don't Panic, H&M Is Here
Winter ends, and spring and higher temperatures come along; it is time for you to forget about coats and scarves, wool and corduroy, and to start thinking about lighter clothes.
With every change of season, we always feel a lack of appropriate outfits to wear. Even though our closets may be full of clothes and about to burst, we still have that feeling. Every morning we throw all our clothes over the bed and start to think: "it is too warm for this," "this is from 2 years ago," "I don't look good in this pants anymore..." The only solution to kill the dilemma is to go shopping.
You know you have enough clothes and going shopping is not a real need, so you don't want to spend a lot of money on it; but you still want to follow the current trends and refresh your style. If you want the best fashion at a very reasonable price, H&M is a great choice.
Hennes&Mauritz, commonly know as H&M, is a Swedish clothing brand that has been successfully expanding all around the world since 1968. They always stay on top of fashion trends and make collections for men, women, teenagers and children. Several prestigious designers, such as Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Viktor&Rolf, have collaborated with the brand; and famous supermodels, from Natasha Poly and Daria Werbowy, to Sasha Pivovarova and Raquel Zimmerman, often feature their ad campaigns.
This time, H&M chose the Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen to present their latest Spring 2011 collection. The collection merges perfectly with Gisele's calm and exotic-hippie style. Every item screams the word bohemia, and it is designed to give comfort without forgetting about the chic side we all pray for.
So if you are desperate to find some trendy spring-summer clothes, you should definitely walk in any of the 2,000 stores H&M has all around the world and check out their new fashion proposals.

Kate Moss + Longchamp = The Perfect Marriage
The multifaceted supermodel Kate Moss has been working for Longchamp, a French leader company, since 2006. She has appeared in several advertising campaigns for the brand, and recently she has also collaborated in a couple collections of handbags.
Kate's third collaboration with Longchamp has resulted in a new line of handbags for this upcoming Spring 2011, called Faraway. A trip to Peru inspired the model to create these fabulous pieces. The design has an exotic flavor, filled with neutral colors, ecru, nude and khakis. The collection launch will include a short film directed by Alasdair McLellan, and it will be available in stores from March 2011.
And...who else could be better than Kate Moss itself to show the collection to the world?

John "Eccentric" Galliano Fired From Dior
The "enfant terrible" of fashion just got fired from Dior, the high-fashion clothing brand he has been working for since 1997.
The fashion world became aware of Dior's decline in the middle 90's; it seemed the end of the French brand. The House of Dior needed a radical change, something different and innovative out of their usual classical style; and John Galliano was the answer. Since he got to the firm, Dior runway shows are the center of attention; the ones we cannot wait to see.
Even though the "Tim Burton of fashion" has been the major reason of Dior's golden age and current success, Dior's president and CEO decided to fire the designer because of a couple anti-Semitic comments he made and a video recorded at a Paris cafe where he says he loves Hitler. Obviously, those kind of comments are against the firm's essential values, and probably against the whole world's ideals so, in my point of view, his dismissal from the firm is completely fair.
I am not sure if this is the end of Galliano as a reference in the fashion world, but what I am sure about is that his extravaganze and unlimited creativity will never be forgotten. Mister Galliano is and will always be a genius.

Oscars 2011 and How To Slap Fashion In the Face
The Academy Award, commonly known as the Oscars, is one of the most distinguished award ceremonies in the world. Everyone knows about it; it is pretty much the event of the year. The Oscars are televised in live in more than 200 countries; all celebrities who walk down the red carpet are the center of every camera's lenses.
Anyone with just a little bit of common sense would try to dress properly with an outfit that suits their figure. So my question is, why in the world would you wear something that does not look good on you?
Hollywood stars borrow outfits from the most notorious fashion designers in the world and they have assessors who advice them how to dress properly for every occasion; that's why I cannot understand the reasons why celebrities are continuously slapping fashion in the face.
My conclusion is that maybe some of these millionaires just couldn't make time in their busy lives to go to the store to buy a 20 bucks mirror for their mansion.
